This Privacy Policy explains how MzansiMali handles information when you use mzansimali.co.za. It reflects the public site’s launch setup and will be updated if that setup changes materially.

Information processed when you visit

Like most websites, MzansiMali and its hosting, caching and security infrastructure may automatically process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect pages. This can include an IP address, browser or device type, requested page, request time and basic error or security information.

This technical information may appear in server or security logs. It is used for purposes such as operating the website, diagnosing faults, preventing abuse and maintaining security.

Search, tools and contact

• Site search: words entered into the search box are included in the page address and processed by WordPress so the site can return matching content.
• Savings Target Calculator: the target, current-savings and months values are calculated in your browser and are not submitted to MzansiMali by the calculator.
• Contact: the public site does not currently provide a contact form. If you choose to email the address displayed on the Contact page, your email address, message and normal email metadata will be processed by the email services involved.

Please do not send account numbers, identity documents, passwords or other confidential financial records.

Cookies and analytics

The public launch pages do not currently use advertising cookies or visitor analytics. WordPress and the site’s infrastructure may use strictly functional, security or administration-related cookies. See the Cookie Policy for the current detail.

Other websites and service providers

MzansiMali relies on service providers to host, cache, secure and deliver the website. Those providers may process limited technical information on our behalf or under their own legal obligations. If an article links to another website, that site’s privacy practices apply when you visit it.

Retention and security

We aim to keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was processed, site security, dispute handling or applicable legal obligations. No internet service can promise perfect security, but we use the controls available through the website and hosting environment to reduce avoidable risk.

Your choices and requests

You can control cookies through your browser and choose not to send us an email. If you want to ask what personal information we hold about you, or request a correction or deletion where applicable, use the details on the Contact page. We may need enough information to understand and verify the request.
